HOW IT ALL BEGAN
...

0800 hours, 31 May 1955.  A frustrated Staff Sergeant Charles T. St. George was in the pay line at Headquarters 1821 AACS Wing, South Ruislip, England.  He was relieved that he would soon have money to pay the hospital boarding fee of three dollars daily.  He would check out of his office and check his wife, Christa, out of the maternity clinic where she was diagnosed with false labor.

At 0930 hours, St. George called the clinic to make arrangements for his wife's release and was told the patient had started labor and delivery was expected soon.

At 1000 hours, St. George arrived at the clinic and joined other airmen waiting and pacing the floor hoping for the inevitable birth of their child.  No one knew the sex of their soon to be born child...there were no tests.  But at this phase, at this time... everyone just wanted the process over.  St. George had been waiting since Friday last and had expected to return home to start all over again.

At 1129 hours a female child was born to Charles and Christa St. George of 76 Weldon Crescent, Harrow-On-The-Hill, England.  This perfect, happy, beautiful girl was named...

Charlotte Margaret St.George

THROUGH THE YEARS ....

Once Upon A Time, Charlotte soon realized that she was the only girl in the family of five children.  There were boys older and boys younger than her.  She was right in the middle.  Charlotte developed a plan to control these siblings by motivating the boys above her...manipulating the boys below.

This plan has worked successfully over the years with very little change except the method and degree of control grew with the boys moving on to college and marriage.  Major life decisions were first "coordinated" with Char and she responded with advice and direction.  Then on to their parents... Most of the parental advice was usually the same but presented with a "softer" technique.

In the tradition of the strong women before her, Charlotte adopted cooking, rearing and hard-nosed methods of her German, Irish and French Canadian ancestors.

Charlotte faces a life-threatening disease...a dreaded cancer.  On her 55th birthday, Char is dealing with chemo, surgery and radiation treatments along with maintaining her home and family and a challenging full-time job.  Charlotte will overcome all obstacles and celebrate a long life of love and happiness... Lady Char has a plan!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLOTTE!!!
